The Frank Anthony Public School is located in Lajpat Nagar IV. The school was established, owned and administered by the All-India Anglo-Indian Education Institution, New Delhi, registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860. It is a co-educational school and today has about 3300 boys and girls on the rolls from classes Nursery, Preparatory right up to Class XII. The school is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, which was established by the late Mr. Frank Anthony in 1958 in liaison with the Cambridge Syndicate and continued as the elected Chairman till his demise in December 1993.
The school possesses a qualified and dedicated team of teachers, who are imbued with a vision for the holistic development of the pupils. The school is highly competent in the respective academic disciplines. The school is also committed to encouraging the pupils involvement in extra and co-curricular activities. The school has a well-equipped senior library and a junior library. The school has a range of encyclopedias reference books classics and present day fiction. These are extremely useful in helping students with reference projects, deemed mandatory by the CICSE. The school has a plethora of Indian and International books and periodicals that are available to help students keep up with the current affairs.
The school has three well-equipped laboratories for Biology (Zoology and Botany), Physics and Chemistry. The school has two computer laboratories. One is for the junior and middle school section and other is for the senior school. The school is equipped with state-of-the-art hardware and software. Here the students use Thin Clients based on Linux and Windows. The school follows the Public School System and maintains a well-planned, organized Prefectural and Monitorial System headed by the four main office bearers. The four main office bearers are the Head Boy, Head Girl, Vice Head Boy and Vice Head Girl.
The classes of the school are divided into different Houses. Students get to be a part of various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities that are carried out on an Inter House basis. The school has a separate play ground for the pre-primary section. The school organizes the annual athletic meet and Junior Section Sports Days and Inter House matches. The school also hosts the Frank Anthony Memorial Inter School Football, Cricket, Basketball and Volleyball matches, the R.G. Williams Memorial Cricket, the Joyce O'Brien Football Tournament for the Junior Teams and the Delhi State Inter-School Karate Championships.
The multipurpose complex of the school was constructed in 2001 to promote and encourage basketball, tennis and badminton. The school is also used for Physical Educational Training during the rainy season and hot summer months. The school also hosts Annual Inter-School Competitions known as ECOs - the Economics and Commerce Symposium, Symbiosis.
